Everyone wants to be loved . That’s totally fine ! It’s a part of human nature . But, what about being loved by ourselves? Self-love is the key to a better life , trust me. When you love yourself first you wouldn’t be sad or frustrated because people didn’t show you enough attention . If you don’t give yourself the love you want , then who’s going to love and respect you ?
Some people don’t understand the exact meaning of self-love . Loving yourself means you treat it well , you respect it . But how? Okay , I’m going to explain. There are three steps that you should follow : Dress well , eat well , and think well. First, if you dress well (clean clothes , fashionable ones,…as you like ) you’ll be confident about yourself. Because you gave it attention by wearing your best clothes , so you’ll be happy about it. Next, eating well means having a healthy body, so a healthy brain. Drink lots of water , eat vegetables and fruits , etc. Last but not least , if you want to think well, read books, meditate ( prayers are considered as meditation 😉 ), get a fresh air, and surround yourself by positive energy. If you follow these three simple steps, you’ll be positive about any negative situation. It might affect you, but you’ll be stronger and healthier phisically and spiritually.
So, these are a few benefits of self-love:
- It erases the negative thinking from your mind.
- You’ll be happy by giving yourself love and attention.
- Your life will be better by focusing only on yourself ( I’m not saying be selfish or narcissistic )
It’s not selfish to love yourself, to take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary. You don’t have to like everything about yourself to love it, but accept your flaws instead.
There are many other beneficial steps, just google them. And, this is my personal advice for me and you all. I’m not perfect at living ; I’m just learning xx .
